Florida Trip
We had the best trip to Florida in late Feb/early March. Met Dad down at the end of a work trip in Orlando and so glad we did. Ben had his first plane ride - it's something I'll never forget. He kept saying "get me outta here" and "go home and see Bunk and Jax" most of the flight. Sam went to the bathroom about a dozen times. We spilled almost a whole bottle of water and the boys found great entertainment in kicking the seats ahead of them! =-) Saturday when we got down there Dad was finishing up his tournament so the boys and I explored the condo and went swimming (even though it was rainy and pretty cold). Probably wasn't a great decision, but they had the best time and the water was as warm as bath water. Then while Dad had a break we went over to the Boardwalk where he was staying to eat pizza and check it out. Sunday we went to Sea World - weather was beautiful and boys loved it. They had 3 great shows - Shamu of course, a neat dolphin/diving show and a hilarious "pets ahoy" show. Monday Aunt Terrie and Uncle Dick drove up and we did putt putt golf, went swimming again and then to Downtown Disney where we ate at the T-Rex Cafe and Ghiradelli ice cream shop! Tuesday we sent to the Magic Kingdom - favorite rides included the race cars (rode 3x), dumbo's, Buzz Lightyear, the rocket ships and the Jungle Cruise. Ben also loved the Goofy Roller Coaster and rode it twice. Sam was scared and didn't want to go on =-) Ben kept saying "goes around and around and so fast". They loved the Parade - it was so cute seeing Sam wave to all the characters and get excited about them. Ben was just in awe of it all - not quite sure what to think. We were sad to go home Wednesday, but the boys were definitely exhausted and probably ready. It was such a fun trip - couldn't have been any better! I wanted to document it all so we will always remember. There's nothing like having all that time together!!!

January/February 2015
Almost through February! Our biggest update to share is that our little Ben Ben has started talking - a lot! Around Christmas he all of the sudden took off and it seems every week he is saying more and more! It's so fun to hear his sweet little voice. I love to hear him have a conversation with Sam.
Sam: "Ben, I'm going to go first ok little buddy?" Ben: "Otay Sammy, you go first then my turn".
A couple of our favorites "P U that stinks" and "sweet cheeks" (also a very very popular Sammerism right now). We're so proud of him!!! Both boys are doing swim class at the YMCA again. Sam just got done with is first ever session of Tiny Tot basketball at the Y. He absolutely loved it and even dribbled down the court and made a basket during one of his games! We celebrated Nana, Cousin Shelly and Mom's birthday in January and had a fun visit with our friends Gavin and Natalie who came down to visit from Columbus. Sam, Dad, Bunk and Jax had fun in the snow today - Big Snug was worn out and taking a nap because he had played hard in it the day before (when Mom failed to pull out the camera) =-(

December
What a fun month of December! We made it to the Middletown light display, Zoo, Niederman Christmas Walk, the Lebanon Horse Parade, Prasco's Family Christmas event and Great Wolf! We hope to make all of these places/events annual family traditions and I made sure to tell the boys they would be doing them every year even when they were 18 and too cool. They will do it! We had our family Christmas get together's and the boys were spoiled with thoughtful presents. My personal favorite day (probably of the year) was Christmas Day. We stayed at home in our PJ's all day and just played with toys - didn't have to go anywhere or do anything - it was perfect! It took Ben a little time (Santa #2), but he eventually warmed up to Santa. Sam was all about it this year - asked Santa for a race car game (which he really liked and then it broke - but Santa came through and sent a replacement that we just got today thank goodness!)

November
Officially 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 years old! We had a fun November - took a rode trip to Atlanta to visit the Borgerding's. Went to Lego Discovery Place (they were doing their good cop/bad cop impressions), a bunch of parks and had fun playing at their house! Ben has really started saying a lot more words the last few weeks - even is counting to 10 and saying a lot of the ABC song! Had a fun Thanksgiving with everyone - we love playing with all of our cousins!
