Cousin Landyn, Crawling and Birthday's

A lot has been going on in January! Sammy's definitely on the move now - started crawling a few days after Christmas and now it's hard to contain him! Cousin Landyn was born on January 4th- he is beautiful and we're so happy for Kelly and Teddy! Sam had fun playing with Kellen at the Gymboree Play Place last weekend. And we celebrated Cousin Shelly's birthday last weekend, Nana's birthday Friday and then Mommy's birthday today!

Crazy Man

Sammy has had a rough few days - not feeling well at all. This video was obviously taken before he started feeling bad. He was cracking up as we were getting him ready for a bath - the day after Christmas. He also reached a new milestone this week - he's mastered crawling!

Christmas

Sam had a great 1st Christmas! He got new toys, books and clothes - our family did way too much! We had Christmas Eve at our house with my side of the family and went to Robertson's Christmas day. He didn't quite get into the present opening this year but he sure loves his new toys!

Sam meets Santa

Last weekend Sammy rang the bell for the Salvation Army. His cuteness definitely drew people in and helped raise extra funds! We also went to Kar and Madie's 4th birthday party! Last night Sam met Santa at the Prasco Santa night. Wasn't a huge fan - was okay at first but then got upset. He looked so handsome and grown up in his penguin outfit!

Thanksgiving

Last weekend Sammy was invited to his first friend birthday party - Brooklyn's 2nd! He also got his first kiss from her! He had a big Thanksgiving - spent Thursday with the Smith family and Saturday with the Robertson family. We have SO much to give thanks for!!! We have countless blessings in our life and loved spending the last few days with our family.

Jumper

Watch out! I'm getting high tech - finally able to post a video after like 25 times of trying. Every one I've tried to do is too long I think. This is our little jumping bean going to town in his jumper - not super exciting and it somehow cut out our voices. Oh well - I'm just happy that it seems to be working and you can see how much Sammy likes to jump! Just when you think he's getting tired and has had enough - he goes at it some more! Oh and next time we'll make sure there's more light and it's in focus! =-) What amateurs...

Whammer Time

Is it weird that it's only November 14th and we have Christmas lights on our house? Don't worry...they aren't on. Since it was so nice yesterday, Joe was into getting them up. Sammy liked checking them out and playing with them. He's got all kinds of teeth coming in - some days he seems to be really bothered by them and other days they aren't hurting him too bad. I feel bad for the little guy! He had his 6 month appt last week (which is more like 6 1/2 mo appt) and he was 28 1/2 inches long and 1 ounce short of 19 lbs. He did not like going to the doctor this time. He didn't seem to mind visits in the past, but now that he's so alert to everything around him- he realized real quick that he didn't want to be there with a scary stranger man giving him shots in the leg!
