December

What a fun month of December! We made it to the Middletown light display, Zoo, Niederman Christmas Walk, the Lebanon Horse Parade, Prasco's Family Christmas event and Great Wolf! We hope to make all of these places/events annual family traditions and I made sure to tell the boys they would be doing them every year even when they were 18 and too cool. They will do it! We had our family Christmas get together's and the boys were spoiled with thoughtful presents. My personal favorite day (probably of the year) was Christmas Day. We stayed at home in our PJ's all day and just played with toys - didn't have to go anywhere or do anything -  it was perfect! It took Ben a little time (Santa #2), but he eventually warmed up to Santa. Sam was all about it this year - asked Santa for a race car game (which he really liked and then it broke - but Santa came through and sent a replacement that we just got today thank goodness!)

November

Officially 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 years old! We had a fun November - took a rode trip to Atlanta to visit the Borgerding's. Went to Lego Discovery Place (they were doing their good cop/bad cop impressions), a bunch of parks and had fun playing at their house! Ben has really started saying a lot more words the last few weeks - even is counting to 10 and saying a lot of the ABC song! Had a fun Thanksgiving with everyone - we love playing with all of our cousins!

Fall Fun

October was a blast! Pumpkin Farms galore, celebrating Keelie's birthday and of course trick-or-treat! Sam was Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Ben was a Dusty Cropduster Race Crew Member. They were so cute and loved their costumes!

1st Day of School

Sam and Ben started school yesterday at Liberty Heights! Sam is an Owl this year and will be going 4 days a week. Ben is a Bee and is just going on Monday's. Cannot believe what big boys they were. What a difference a year makes - Sam has been super excited for school to start and went right into his class room without any fear (last year was rough with lots of tears). We weren't sure what to expect from Ben - but he woke up and acted really excited to go. He put his back pack on and marched right into the school like he knew exactly what he was doing. He went right into his classroom without hesitation and started playing. It was WAY harder on me than him.We picked them up and surprised them with a picnic lunch at the park and a trip to The Cone! So proud of our boys! Here a few other end of summer pics at the pool - Bunk and Jax even got to go for a dip before the pool closed!

Ben's Big Boy Bed

Try saying that 5x in a row! Big Snug is enjoying snuggling in his big boy bed! Hasn't tried to get out yet; fingers crossed it stays that way. Dad has been working hard - painted Ben's room and put laminate down in both boys rooms. We got a bunk bed for Sam's room - needed to get a bed and figure the boys will want bunk beds in a couple of years anyway (hopefully)! Here are some other cute pics from the Zoo and of them riding bikes.
