November

We had a fun visit down to Atlanta to see the Borgerding's in the middle of November. Went to the Atlanta Aquarium and the Zoo and had a great time just hanging out! We've had an awesome Thanksgiving and weekend. We had the Robertson family Thanksgiving last weekend and then the Smith Family get together on Thursday. Can't believe it's already December 1st! Tonight we went to the Christmas Walk at Neiderman Farm which is beautiful. Definitely in the Christmas spirit! A few recent Sammerism's that I wanted to write down so I don't forget...he keeps saying "holy mole" (instead of holy moley). I bet he said it 50 times today. He told us his food was "scrumptious" today. He said when he gets big and is 100 he'll be able to touch the ceiling. Earlier this week at bedtime, Sam says to me "Mommy, we sure do have a great family". Sweetest thing ever. Can't wait to hear what the Big Snug says when he starts talking!

Halloween and More

Here are pictures from our Salt Fork State Park weekend, Halloween and Ben's first swim class! We had a great little weekend trip to Salt Fork with Mom, Dad and the Toth family! It was kind of a bummer because Sam and Ben ended up being the only kids there, but they still had a great time! Halloween night we went over to our neighbors house and the plan was for all the kids to go trick-or-treating. We were able to trick-or-treat for about 15 minutes and then the pouring rain came and we all decided to go back to their house so the kids could play inside. Sam was sprinting from house to house - loved it! Ben was the cutest Dalmation there ever was! And then last night we actually went to our friends neighborhood for trick-or-treat #2 which worked out great! Sam turned 3 1/2 last week and Ben turns 18 months this week! Sam got his first progress report at school - teachers said he's doing a great job. Ben is starting to get into books more - will pick them out and bring them to you. He has started blowing kisses and giving kisses which is so cute! And our favorite thing is is dancing/head shake moves. They crack us up! 

Fall

Sammy and Ben were excited to meet their #6 cousin, Charlie! Aunt Kristen had him on September 17th - cutest little guy! Here are some other pictures from the past few weeks. Went to Young's Dairy with Great Grandma Smith last weekend - boys made friends with the goats as you can see. Sammy is loving school now - yells "yes!" every time we tell him it's a school day. Ben is getting so big - 17 months now. He is our little wild man! He likes to play race n chase around the house with Sammy now!

First Day of School

Sammy just started preschool at Liberty Heights Preschool (and church) which is a just a few minutes from our house. He's going Monday/Wednesday mornings. Here are pictures of him on his first day, along with his proud little brother. Sammy did great all morning, was happy walking in and then we got to the room and he definitely got a little scared. The tears started flowing and he kept saying "You'll be right back? Why are you leaving me?" It was definitely hard leaving that room, but his teachers Ms. Maria and Ms. Debbie were awesome and we knew he was in good hands. When we picked him up, he came marching out with a sucker in his mouth, happy as can be. Sammy is such a sensitive little dude and just seems to get scared/upset in new situations. We have now completed week 2 and this evening he told me, "Mom, I really like school and am a really good listener." He seems to really enjoy it, which we knew he would. It's just hard to believe our little Whammers is already starting school!

July/August Update

We've had such a fun summer and are sad that it's coming to an end! Here are some pictures from end of July and August. I also have pictures from this weekend that I tried to upload but am having problems with them for some reason (I'm ready to scream!) so I'll try to put those on as soon as I can. The boys and I went on a road trip the end of July down to Knoxville to stay the weekend with our buddies, The Hulen's. We had a blast going to the Zoo, downtown Knoxville park and Safety City - going to make it an annual event! Got to stop and see our friends, The Karsner's on the way home in KY. Kel, Teddy and the kids came home early August and we celebrated Emie's 1st birthday. That same weekend we had a fun baby shower for Kristen and baby Charlie on the way! We had our friends the Troiano's come down from Columbus to play one day in August and Kel and the kids came up for a fun, unexpected sleepover! And to top off a great month, we celebrated Pappaw and Uncle Dave's birthday this weekend! Throw in some visits to Kings Island, the Waterpark, park time, t-ball, driving range and putt-putt, swim lessons and lots of playing with our neighbor friends...we had a busy fun-filled summer!
