5 Months

Sammy turned 5 months old today! He gets more and more awesome every day. We just can't get over how much he changes from week to week. He rolls over on his belly now like it's nothing and even sleeps that way now. We're getting ready to start him on some rice cereal tonight for the first time - can't wait to see his reaction! He also has a fascination with sticking out his tongue in case you couldn't tell from a couple of the pictures.

Rolling Over

Sammy started rolling over on his belly this week! He isn't trying to do every time he is on his back, but he did it probably 8 times today. He doesn't enjoy being on his stomach so he rolls over and gets stuck and is unhappy. He hasn't gotten the hang of getting back over to his back yet!

We had a good weekend - the Cone on Friday night with Aunt Lisa and Nana, Aunt Carla's baby shower on Saturday and lots of snuggling with Mom on Sunday while Dad was at the Bengals game!

Whodey

Sam got introduced to football in a big way this weekend - snuggled with Daddy during the OSU game Saturday and then got decked out in his jersey and watched the Bengals suck it up on Sunday!

Sam had a doctor's appt this past week - doc said he looked great. Weighs 17.1 lbs (76% percentile) and is 26 3/4 inches long (92% percentile). He said to hold on feeding rice cereal for now since he is satisfied with his bottles, but I think it'll be soon!

Labor Day Weekend

Sammy had a fun weekend - celebrated Pappaw Psycho's birthday Friday evening, made candles with Grammie and Mommy, then played cards with the Zurcher's on Saturday, went to the park and the "Cone" on Sunday and went shopping at the Outlets and had a cookout with the Smith fam on Monday.
