Patrick and Kasey's Wedding

We made a road trip down to Mt. Sterling, Kentucky this weekend for Uncle Patrick and Aunt Kasey's wedding. We had a great time seeing everyone! The wedding was beautiful and Sammy looked adorable in his little tux outfit!

Sammy hits the pool

Last week Sammy made his first visit to the swimming pool. We went with Aunt Kelly, Karsyn and Madie to their neighborhood pool which was lots of fun. Sammy was pumped about going, but quickly tired himself out and basically fell asleep in the pool after about 5 minutes! =-) I think he'll be more excited for the pool next summer!

Baby Talk

As Sam has started to make more noise, I've started to notice the noise that is coming out of my mouth when we're having our conversations. I've noticed that when I'm talking to him in my high pitched voice, I can't seem to complete a normal sentence.

In example, this is something I caught myself saying to Sam just last night:
Did Sammy take a biggy poopy in his diapey? Mommy has to get the baby wipies and wash your little butty. Translation: Did Sam take a big poop in his diaper? Mom has to get the wipes and wash your butt.

I just have to add those "y"s or "ies" to everything I say to Sam! =-) Joe makes fun of me and thinks I'm a little nuts, but I catch him doing it too!

More Cuteness

Big Dude

Sam had his 2 month doctor appt today. He was 14.5 lbs (91st percentile) and 25 inches long (94th percentile)! He had 3 shots and was a champ through them. Doc said he looked great!

4th of July!

Sammy had a big weekend! He hung out with Aunt Kel, Uncle Teddy, Kar and Madie, had a cook out with Aunt Terrie, Uncle Dick and Shelly, partied at Great Gramma and Grampa Smith's house with the Smith gang, saw Nana and Pappaw, Grammie and GG - he was all over the place!
