Sam turned 2 months old today! Here are a few pictures from the last few days! A bunch of his friends came out to play to celebrate his milestone! His friend Kellen (my friend Eleise's baby) tuned 2 months old just 3 days before Sam - they had fun snuggling in the boppy. And big news - he has his first girlfriend - Alaina (my friend Kellee's little girl). He must like the older women because she's 5 weeks older than he is. Looks like the relationship is off to a fast start - they started holding hands in the first few minutes of meeting.

Father's Day
Dad had a great 1st Father's Day! Sam surprised him with a beautiful picture of himself for Dad's desk at work, a couple of books on being a great Dad and some golf targets for the backyard for him to practice (and for him and Sam to have fun with in a couple of years). Dad deserves it - he has been the man since Sammy has arrived - always so helpful! He loves Sam more than anything!
SMILES
There is nothing better in the world than to see the Sammers smile! He started smiling around 6 weeks. We haven't caught too many on camera yet, but here are a couple! He's such a happy and content baby all of the time! Hardly cries at all!
What Sam has NOT liked in the first 8 weeks:
- Meals that are late
- Being woken up
- Feeling Gassy
- Having people try to burp me all the time
- Tummy time (not a fan)

- My color-changing ducky and the rest of my animal parade

The first of many...
I decided to start a blog for our little man, Sam so that we can post pictures for our family and document all of his fun adventures! Today he is 8 weeks and 1 day old, so I have gotten a little bit of a late start. But better late than never, right?
April 27, 2010 Samuel Phillip Robertson was born at 11:11am at Miami Valley Hospital, 7lbs 10oz and 21 3/4 inches long. Mom had a relatively easy labor (after the epidural) and surprised everyone by coming early in the day (doc thought it would be closer to 8pm). He was ready to be here and we were ready to have him here! "It's a boy" doc proclaimed. He was beautiful! Lots of dark hair and big alert eyes - he was amazing at first sight! It was the happiest day of our lives!
